anesthesia solutions for dental offices, surgical centers, and clinics across Illinois,
Wisconsin, and Northwest Indiana. Our mission is to make high-quality anesthesia
accessible and affordable without compromising on patient safety and experience.

Janicki Anesthesia Services provides flexible, cost-effective anesthesia solutions for a wide range of medical procedures – including general anesthesia and Monitored Anesthesia Care. Dedicated to client service and patient satisfaction, we uphold the highest standards of care for both adults and children before, during, and after procedures, prioritizing patient convenience and comfort. Our experienced team of anesthesiologists are also equipped to provide compassionate care for patients with special conditions or circumstances.
All of this is possible through our unique in-office approach to anesthesia administration. Our team provides all the necessary equipment, devices, medications, and more for each procedure, enabling us to seamlessly integrate with our client's offices, staff, and standard protocols in a flexible, tailored manner that results in an optimal service environment for all parties. We pride ourselves on using the latest technology and medical advancements available.
Our Team
Our dedicated team of board-certified and licensed professionals, including
anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists, operates with the highest standards of care and professionalism. All of our associates hold Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications, reflecting our unwavering commitment to patient safety and excellence.
Over the years, our team has served approximately forty medical facilities, with a
continued focus on dental- and oral-surgery-related offices and practices. Many of those clients are longstanding, underlining the impact of our team's customized, accommodating methods of care.
Rick Janicki, CRNA
Founder & President, JAS
As founder and president of Janicki Anesthesia Services (JAS), Rick Janicki brings two decades of experience and expertise in the essential field and practice of anesthesiology, contributing to thirty total years as a healthcare professional.
In 2008, Rick founded JAS with the vision of creating a widely accessible practice dedicated to in-office anesthesia administration. This focus distinguishes JAS from other anesthesia solutions by prioritizing patient care, such as expediting wakeups, decreasing post-operative side effects, and improving post-operative pain control, all while maintaining cost efficiencies that benefit patients and clients alike. Over the last decade, he has managed and evolved JAS into a multi-state operation.
A lifelong Chicagoan, Rick spent ten years as a paramedic officer with the Chicago Fire Department and was a registered nurse in the emergency department of Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center – one of the busiest trauma centers in the Midwest. Both roles, along with numerous anesthesia-specific positions, helped shape and solidify his personal and professional
interest in anesthesia as a specialty and contribute to the patient-first approach he takes in every aspect of his work.
Rick graduated from Evanston Northwestern School of Anesthesia and received a Master of Science in Nursing from DePaul University. In addition to being a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), he is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) and holds the following certifications and licenses:

In his free time, Rick enjoys spending time with his five children, caring for his dogs, and relaxing by the pool in the summer. He also loves adventuring around downtown Chicago with his wife, discovering the many restaurants and events the city has to offer.
